After completion of this half-day course, learners will be able to:
-Define key terms related to air toxics risk assessment.
-Describe the basic steps in conducting risk assessments.
-Identify resources and tools used when conducting risk assessments.
-Generate simple risk estimates.
-Explain how to select and interpret data supporting each of the risk assessment components.
-Generally describe how to judge the quality of data used in risk assessments, including any limitations.
-Describe risk characterization.
