Air Plan Approval; Kentucky; Emissions Statement Requirements for the 2015 8-Hour Ozone Standard Nonattainment Areas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted to EPA by the Commonwealth of Kentucky through the Kentucky Division for Air Quality (KDAQ) on October 15, 2020.

Air Plan Approval; California; Ventura County Air Pollution Control District

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking final action to approve revisions to the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (VCAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from surface cleaning and degreasing operations, and from batch loaded vapor degreasing operations. We are approving changes to SIP- approved local rules to regulate these emission sources under the Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act).

Air Plan Approval; Iowa; Interstate Transport of Air Pollution for the 2015 8-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards

The Clean Air Act (CAA) requires each State Implementation Plan (SIP) to contain adequate provisions prohibiting emissions that will significantly contribute to nonattainment or interfere with maintenance of air quality in other states. The State of Iowa made a submission to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or Agency) to address these requirements for the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).

Air Plan Disapproval; New York and New Jersey; Interstate Transport of Air Pollution for the 2015 8-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards

Pursuant to the Federal Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to disapprove State Implementation Plan (SIP) submittals from New York and New Jersey regarding interstate transport for the 2015 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS). This provision requires that each state's SIP contain adequate provisions to prohibit emissions from within the state from significantly contributing to nonattainment or interfering with maintenance of the NAAQS in other states.
